diy body washI’m always looking for natural body washes and shower gels, and now I just make my own!  It’s really simple, and the nice thing is you can switch up the scent as your mood takes you.  You could have a more uplifting one for the morning shower and a more relaxing calming one if you shower in the evening.

Here’s how to make your DIY body wash:-

What You Need:

8 ounce glass pump bottle

1/2 cup unscented Castile soap

4 tablespoons vegetable glycerin

3 tablespoons Fractionated Coconut Oil

10 drops of your favorite essential oil

Note: You can find vegetable glycerin at most health food stores. Vegetable glycerin will help the body wash be thicker, creamier, and lather better.

Directions:

1. Combine ingredients into glass pump bottle.

2. Add desired essential oil(s).

For an uplifting wash try these oils: Wild Orange, Peppermint, Grapefruit, Lime, Lemongrass or Eucalyptus.

For a relaxing body wash try these: Lavender, Bergamot, Geranium, Cedarwood or Roman Chamomile.

Remember it is important to keep your essential oil products in glass containers not plastic.

It’s so important to have our personal care products be natural and toxin free.  Making your own ensures that you know exactly what goes in there so you can keep your family healthy and safe!
