Essential Oils For Back-To-School
Sep 14, 2017The back to school season is an exciting time! New classes, new friends, new experiences. We also tend to get much busier during this time, which means less time to dedicate to staying healthy. That’s where essential oils become such a valuable addition to the home. The possible applications for essential oils during this time are endless, but here are some favorite essential oils for back-to-school:
Breathe – a great way to support healthy breathing during the seasonal changes and different environments we find ourselves in. The Breathe Touch roller is a great tool for on-the-go application, especially to the chest to help promote clear airways. Breathe Respiratory drops are another great option!
OnGuard – an absolute must-have for this time of year, OnGuard is amazing for supporting the immune system! With kids back in school and exposed to more germs, diffusing OnGuard at home will help keep them protected, along with a roll of OnGuard Touch down the spine as they head to school. Research has shown OnGuard to be an amazingly effective, and safe, way to kill germs. Starting October 2nd, a sanitizing spray will be available as well! Perfect for having in the car, backpacks, diaper bags, purses, and more!
Balance – as fun as back to school season is, it can also be stressful, for parents and kids. Balance applied to the bottom of the feet in the morning to help everyone stay grounded throughout the day, or diffused.
DigestZen – tummy troubles are no fun for anyone, which is where DigestZen comes in! Remember the old pepto bismol commercial? That’s what the blend helps with. Yup, one blend, relief for endless types of digestive upset, pretty cool!
Deep Blue – back to school also means back to sports, and back to sports means more complaints of muscle soreness. Having Deep Blue Rub on hand is the perfect option to soothe those muscles, along with any strains or sprains that may happen. With ingredients including Wintergreen, Camphor, Eucalyptus, Ylang Ylang, Blue Chamomile, Blue Tansy, Helichrysum, and Osmanthus, Deep Blue is a fantastic blend
Serenity – after a long day of school, sports and other extra-curricular activities, and homework, getting a good night’s sleep is vital to a healthy back to school season – for parents and kids! Try diffusing Serenity in a diffuser in your kids’ bedrooms, and one or two Serenity Softgels before bed for you.
These essential oils, and many others, are incredibly useful during this time. Aside from using the oils on their own, here are some diffuser blend ideas:
